Why Now

Stop being the processor. Start being the strategist.

4.7 percent

of all job postings in Singapore now require AI skills, the highest share of any country in the world.

Stanford AI Index Report 2026
15,000

AI practitioners Singapore aims to build, more than triple the current pool, under National AI Strategy 2.0.

Ministry of Digital Development and Information

AI is not coming for your career. It is coming for the parts of your job that should have been automated years ago: the admin, the reporting, the repetitive. What it cannot replace is your contextual judgement, your empathy, and your ability to turn ideas into outcomes.

The professionals who thrive will be AI bilingual: fluent enough to direct AI as an extended brain, sharp enough to provide the human premium it cannot replicate. That is not a distant skill. It is something you can build deliberately, starting now.

  1. RecogniseAccept the AI reality without fear
  2. EngageActively work with new tools, not around them
  3. WeakenConsciously drop legacy workflows that no longer serve you
  4. EmbedIntegrate AI into your daily professional identity

Compressed team economics

Every hour you spend on administrative work is an hour taken from your core expertise. AI handles the forms and the formatting. You focus on the thinking and the relationships.

The rise of AI Operators

Fluency in AI is the new professional baseline. Those who can synthesise, narrate and direct AI systems will command the premium that purely technical or purely human roles no longer can.

Singapore's National AI Strategy 2.0

The strategy aims to more than triple Singapore's pool of AI practitioners to 15,000, yet few structured income pathways exist for mid career professionals to get there.

The One Person Company as the new unit

One person companies, AI augmented, are among the most resilient production units of this era.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Who is the OPC Launchpad for?
Mid career professionals with real domain expertise who want to change how they work, not just add a tool. Participants come from marketing, finance, human resources, operations, healthcare and consulting. Your existing expertise is the asset. The programme teaches you to amplify it with agentic AI.
Do I need a technical background?
No. The programme starts from first principles and is built for professionals rather than developers. Prior programming or data analysis experience is an advantage but is not required. You do need to be comfortable with everyday digital tools such as Microsoft Excel, and you need to be willing to work hands on with software every day.
Who delivers the programme?
Kydon Group, in partnership with Singapore Polytechnic, under the SkillsFuture Career Transition Programme. Singapore Polytechnic's School of Computing delivers modules 2, 3 and 4 to its own accredited syllabus, covering 212 of the 580.5 hours. Kydon Group delivers the remaining five modules. Future Edge Institute Private Limited, where you are reading this, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Kydon Holdings Pte. Ltd.
Who issues the certificates?
Singapore Polytechnic issues all eight Certificates of Completion, one for each module. They are Singapore Polytechnic certificates. Future Edge Institute does not issue certificates for this programme.
What will I have built by the end?
A working business, not a portfolio of exercises. You build the core tool of your own One Person Company, an AI brain grounded in your own data, an integrated engine connecting automation, APIs and a generative AI layer, and an operating dashboard. Module 7 closes with the Without-You Test: proving the business runs without you for 48 hours.
Is it full time, and can I keep working?
It is full time over five months, combining classroom learning with asynchronous e learning. It is not designed to be taken alongside full time employment. It is built for people making a deliberate transition, which is what the SkillsFuture Career Transition Programme exists to support. Cohort 1 starts on 5 October 2026 and applications close on 30 September 2026. Write to enquiry@futureedgeinstitute.com for the full timetable, including the end date, before making any decision about your current employment.
What does it cost, and am I eligible for a subsidy?
The fee tiers are set out in the fees section on this page. All fees include 9 percent GST and exclude supplementary fees, and subsidy eligibility follows the prevailing SkillsFuture Singapore criteria. The subsidy applies to this programme specifically. Courses in the AI Operator Professional Series and the AI Adoption Series are commercial programmes offered by Future Edge Institute and are not eligible for SkillsFuture Credit or other government subsidies.
Do I need a business idea before I start?
No. Module 1 is where you find and test one, and the early work is deliberately about validating a niche rather than committing to your first instinct. Participants who arrive with an idea work on it directly. Participants who arrive without one leave with a validated idea rather than a borrowed one.
What happens after I graduate?
Two routes. On the Founder route you launch and run your own AI powered One Person Company, with Kydon Group's mentorship and business network available to you. On the AI Specialist route you enter the market as a professional AI Operator, helping businesses build, deploy and run AI systems. You choose during the programme, not before it.
What happens if my business idea does not work out?
Then you graduate with a data and AI skillset that the second route is built for. This is a real outcome and worth being plain about: not every idea survives contact with a market, and the programme is structured so that the skills are yours regardless. Many participants finish as AI Operators working for businesses that need these systems built and run, which is a job market rather than a bet.
What support is there after graduation?
Kydon Group's mentorship and business network remain open to graduates. Spaze Ventures, an Accredited Mentor Partner appointed by Enterprise Singapore, supports qualifying graduates through the Startup SG Founder grant process with mentorship, application guidance and incubation support. Grant approval is decided by Enterprise Singapore against its own criteria, not by us.
Does the programme connect me to enterprise clients?
Kydon Group operates an AI Marketplace that matches operators to businesses needing AI work delivered. That is a Kydon Group service and access to it is on Kydon Group's terms, not a guarantee attached to this programme. Future Edge Institute does not operate it.
What do I need to bring?
Your own laptop, for use throughout the programme. Everything else, including the software environments and the tooling, is covered in the modules. The entry requirements are listed in full on this page.
